Our last FAW in 2017 took us to one of the most important international museums of its kind: the Museum of Applied Arts in Frankfurt. It was founded in 1877. Today’s collections span 5,000 years of diverse cultures, including 12th-21st century European craftsmanship, design, book and graphic arts, Islamic art, and East Asian arts and crafts. The works are characterized by their unique aesthetics and the masterly use of materials. Currently, the museum is in the press daily through the exhibition “Jil Sander present”.
As speakers, we were able to win Mr. Michael Mellinghoff, Managing Dircetor at TechFluence and Senior Advisor / Mentor at FinTech Forum. The lecture “To Robo or not to Robo – are digital asset managers a permanent or just a transitional phenomenon?” attracted many visitors.
After the exciting presentation, there were exclusive guided tours through the museum’s Jil Sander exhibition – the evening was completed with a get-together and flying buffet.
