For our 39th FAW we were in the Historical Museum after its reopening.
The Historical Museum was founded in 1877/1878 on the basis of citizens’ initiatives, with the task of acquiring suitable objects from the entire area of the cultural and artistic age, with a special focus on the city of Frankfurt am Main and its surroundings, and making them exploitable through scientific research. The museum should be an educational institution and keep the memory of the time of the & nbsp; Freie Stadt Frankfurt. With its collections, exhibitions and events, the museum also reacts to the present as well as issues related to the future. The museum is participatory, & nbsp; it takes the experience and knowledge of its visitors seriously and uses it as an integrated component.
After an exciting lecture by Mr. Christian Ebner, BDO Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, on the topic of “Investmentsteuerreform – Was kommt auf uns zu”, we had exclusive guided tours through the museum. The evening ended with a get-together in the foyer of the museum.
